What is Daily Quiz?
Daily Quiz is a free educational platform that publishes a new quiz every day across five categories: languages, science, history, general knowledge, and technology. Each category contains several subcategories and three difficulty levels, so there is always a fresh quiz matched to your interests and knowledge.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Daily Quiz is designed to be completely account-free. You can start playing immediately without providing an email, name, or any personal information. Your progress is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB, which keeps your data private and under your control.
How do I start playing?
Pick a category from the home page, choose a subcategory, select a difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced), and start answering the daily questions. Your score and time are saved automatically when you finish.
Is Daily Quiz really free?
Yes. Every quiz, in every category and level, is completely free. We do not have premium plans, locked content, or paid features. The site is supported by advertising, which allows us to keep all educational content freely available.
Quizzes and content
How often are new quizzes published?
A new quiz is published every day for each combination of subcategory and difficulty level. Once you complete today's quiz, come back tomorrow to find a brand new set of questions on the same topic.
What difficulty levels are available?
Every subcategory offers three difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Beginner quizzes cover fundamental concepts, intermediate quizzes go deeper, and advanced quizzes challenge even confident learners with harder, less common questions.
Can I replay a quiz I have already completed?
Each daily quiz can only be completed once per day. This keeps the daily challenge meaningful. The next day, a new quiz replaces the previous one, so you always have fresh content to play.
Are explanations included with the questions?
Yes. After you answer each question, we display a short explanation that clarifies why the correct answer is right. Reading these explanations is one of the most effective ways to learn from your mistakes and from the questions you got right.
How many questions are in each quiz?
The number of questions varies depending on the subcategory and level, but most quizzes contain a balanced set of questions designed to be completed in a few minutes. The exact question count is shown at the top of each quiz.
Progress and streaks
How do streaks work?
A streak counts the number of consecutive days on which you complete at least one quiz. If you miss a day, your current streak resets to zero, but your best streak is saved permanently. Streaks are a great way to build a consistent daily learning habit.
Where is my progress stored?
Your personal progress, including completed quizzes, scores, streaks, and statistics, is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Can I see my statistics?
Yes. The Stats page shows your total quizzes played, current streak, best streak, and average score. You can also explore the Public Stats page to see aggregate, anonymous statistics across the whole platform.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Clearing your browser data will erase your local progress, including your streaks and statistics. Because we do not store any personal data on our servers, there is no way to recover this information. We recommend not clearing site data unless you are happy to start fresh.
Privacy and data
What data do you collect?
We do not collect personally identifiable information. We process two categories of data: anonymous quiz-completion analytics on our servers so we can audit finished quizzes and publish aggregate public statistics, and data stored locally on your device for your personal quiz progress.
Do you use cookies?
We use essential cookies for the proper functioning of the website, such as remembering your language preference. Third-party services, including Google AdSense, may set their own cookies to serve relevant advertisements. You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner or your browser settings.
Is Daily Quiz suitable for children?
Yes. Our content is educational and intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children, and because we do not require accounts, the quizzes can be safely enjoyed by users of any age.
